VAE completes SKYCITY Darwin Project

Congratulations to the SKYCITY and VAE group project teams on the successful completion of SKYCITY Darwin Casino, Hotel & Resort. The project included major mechanical plant upgrades in the Casino section of the complex, involving a live cutover of the Casino chilled water system, and overhaul of the previous Building Management System (BMS), whilst maintaining full operation of the plant.

The new BMS solution presented SKYCITY Darwin with a single user interface, combining all three facilities (Casino, Hotel and Resort) that now integrates three different control system brands, and two technologies, into one central user-friendly BMS. SKYCITY can now monitor and control their system from any technology i.e. Computer, tablet or mobile device.

In a true collaborative environment, the SKYCITY and VAE Group project teams provided a great result, that is already delivering substantial energy and efficiency benefits to the casino.
