Robina Hospital RefurbishmentVAE Group undertake face-lift at Robina Hospital

The VAE Group were engaged by Badge Constructions to undertake the HVAC services refurbishment at The Robina Hospital on the Gold Coast.

VAE installed three new rooftop plantrooms, across four buildings (F1, G1, G2 & G3), containing 12 new Chilled Water Air Handling Units (CHW AHU), the associated CHW pipework and modification works to the existing ductwork and VAV’s. All new anti-ligature grilles were installed, including a new Mechanical Services Switchboards (MSSB) in each plantroom.

As all works had to be undertaken in a live hospital environment, the project required a close collaboration between The Robina Hospital staff, Badge Constructions and our VAE project team to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations.
