Exciting Update from Tauhara Geothermal Power Station! 🏭
Marking a major milestone in the final stages of VAE New Zealand’s work on the Tauhara Geothermal Power Station, in July we flushed the chilled water lines! 💦 The Tauhara Power Station is located near Lake Taupo within the volcanic zone in the central North Island of New Zealand.
Despite the freezing outside temperature of -2 degrees, our dedicated team braved the cold to make sure everything runs smoothly. ❄️
The Tauhara Geothermal Power Station is all about harnessing the Earth's natural heat to generate clean and sustainable power. 🌿💡 Our team is thrilled to be part of the movement towards a greener future.
For those that enjoy technical statistics at full capacity the geothermal power station is estimated to produce 1.4 terawatt hours (TWh) of electricity and offset 500,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
Thank you to Naylor Love for providing us with the opportunity to work on this exciting project.
