Christchurch YMCA Stage 2 City Redevelopment
The YMCA project in Christchurch is well underway including the central HVAC plant. We recently landed the chiller and heatpump onto the plant deck, a milestone that marks the home stretch for the project.
VAE’s Project team are currently installing the prefabricated heating and chilled water pipes ready to bring the units to life, with the installation of the floor piped systems and ductwork already installed.
Our site team has made extensive use of the project’s 3D model to coordinate our site installation together with the other services to rapidly identify and correct potential clashes and improve site efficiency.
VAE have been working closely with the Main Contractor Cook Brothers Construction to undertake the Mechanical Services on what is rapidly becoming an iconic building for their client YMCA.
