The Atherton Community, Allied and Mental Health Building (CAMHB) officially opened at the Atherton Hospital in Far North Queensland in September 2020.
VAE were engaged by The FKG Group to undertake the supply and installation of the heating and cooling (HVAC) services on the project. The CAMHB is stage one of three stages at the hospital which is serviced by its own centralised Chilled Water (CHW) system and can be monitored on the Building Management System (BMS) both locally and via the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital Health Service Network.
Stage two involves the construction of the Clinical Service Building and the refurbishment of the existing building, due for completion in 2022.
