Star Mountain Plaza and Convention Centre is a Hilton Hotel property that was created to host some of the world’s top diplomats during the 2018 APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Coorperation) Summit.
Built by Stratum Unlimited, the most significant challenge for this project was the tight program ensuring completion for the APEC summit.

VAE were engaged to undertake the mechanical services on the 212 room, 5 star luxury Hilton Hotel Convention and Performing Arts Centre.
We were awarded the contract based on our proven Papua New Guinean (PNG) experience, and our substantial value added engineering, promise of Built in Certainty, and meeting project programme and budget expectations.
VAE committed to training local labour so that these iconic buildings were built by the people of PNG.
